SCHIP Override Vote Fails

The Democrats have grandstanded on expanding the SCHIP program instead of working for a bipartisan solution. This has resulted in a veto by President Bush. The Democrats in Congress then tried to get enough votes to override the veto, but this has failed. In the process, the Democrats have sunk to new lows as they have exploited children in order to gain a political advantage.
